Last month, Starfleet Research, the leading provider of best practices IT market research for the hospitality industry, released its long-anticipated 2019 Smart Decision Guide to Hospitality Revenue Management.
In a survey of more than 150 hotel senior hotel executives, general managers, revenue managers, IT directors and others who have downloaded and read the new Smart Decision Guide, 91% rated it as “valuable” or “very valuable.” These ratings are consistent with survey results from previous editions.

Of the 87 survey respondents who indicated that they plan to upgrade their revenue management capabilities within the next 12 months, 93% indicated that the new resource will help them to “implement and maximize the value of next-generation revenue management platform capabilities and strategies.”
