London Hotels Report Higher Performance Levels for November

London hotel occupancy rose 2.5% to 85.9% in November, according to preliminary data from STR. ADR rose 3% to £156.94 ($198), which drove RevPAR up 5.6% to £134.85 ($170.13).

STR’s preliminary November 2018 data for London, England, indicates higher performance levels. 

Based on daily data from the month, London reported the following in year-over-year comparisons:

  • Supply: +2.0%
  • Demand: +4.6%
  • Occupancy: +2.5% to 85.9%
  • Average daily rate (ADR): +3.0% to GBP156.94
  • Revenue per available room (RevPAR): +5.6% to GBP134.85

STR analysts note that performance was helped by World Travel Market London (5-7 November) and the Nitto ATP Finals (11-18 November). The absolute occupancy level ranks among the highest for any November in the U.K. capital. 

STR will release full November results later this month.
